Seal's former girlfriend, German model Tatjana Patitz, has thrown fuel on rumours his split with Heidi Klum was down to the singer's volatile temper, accusing him of having "anger issues" and even warning Klum not to take him back.

Patitz also accuses Seal of cheating during their year-long relationship in 1997, describing the 48-year-old as "not a nice person."

"He is not a nice person. He has anger issues. He is definitely not someone who I think of fondly now," Patitz told InTouch magazine.

The model added she believed divorce was the best option for the couple 'because there are children involved'.

Seal has defended himself against accusations his anger caused marital problems, claiming a previous incident with photographers at an airport meant he has been stereotyped as 'the rock star with the hot temper.'
