Simon Cowell has reportedly offered Beyonce an incredible $500 million to join the judging panel on X Factor USA.

The head honcho is on the hunt to find replacements on the talent contest after giving Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and Steve Jones the boot. Several celebrities and musicians have put themselves forward for the coveted roles, but sources say Simon is keen to get queen Bey on board.

MediaTakeOut reports that Simon has offered Bey $100 million a series for a five-year contract. A source told the website: "[Cowell] wants a big name female star on the panel."

"Mariah [Carey] is good, but she's not that hot today. He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol."
