Solange Knowles has sent a tweet to her fans, gushing about Beyonce and Jay-Z's newborn baby Blue Ivy.

The singer-turned-model is one of the few people who have seen the couple's first child, who was born on January 7, and it seems she can't get enough of the tot. Clearly still in awe of her first niece, Solange shared a simple tweet, writing: "Blue makes my days so bright."

While the public are yet to see a photo of Blue, she has been described by Bey's best friends Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams as "beautiful."

It was reported last week that Bey and Jay have hired six nannies to take care of Blue round-the-clock and Jay has even splashed out on platinum jewellery for his daughter.
