Kris Humphries has reportedly requested that the divorce trial between him and Kim Kardashian be broadcast on TV so that he can "expose" her intentions for the marriage as fraud.

It was reported last month that the trial could be aired on TV as laws in California allow cameras in court for high-profile cases. However, it has emerged that Kris himself asked the judge if TV stations can be present for the hearing.

According to TMZ, Kris and his lawyer Lee Hutton want to "expose the M.O. of reality TV," however, he may have problems in his argument.

The first is that Kris asked Kim to marry him and the proposal can be seen on their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Secondly, he has received publicity and an increased amount of fame since the divorce announcement, which he has gladly pocketed from including becoming the spokesperson for a watch company.

Thirdly, Kim hashed out a long pre-nuptial agreement that considered coming across issues later in their marriage. The judge may find that Kim wouldn't bother with such a long-winded agreement if she was only in the marriage for the short term.

Do you think their marriage was a fraud? Should the trial be heard in private?
