Pharrell Williams has described Rick Ross as an "animal," saying his music is on another level to other rappers in the game.

The producer has become close friends with the Maybach Music boss and says that he has set himself apart from others in the industry with his unique sound.

"That guy is an animal; he's an animal with it," Rozay told MTV. "Lyrically, he's crazy, and he's just got a very distinct style, it's his own."

"There were a lot of comparison made at the beginning of his career, but along with the test of time, he's proven that he's his own person and he has his own paintbrush and his own colours. He and I have something special too. We have a special record too, but we're still working - I'm happy to be a part of it."
