Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she wasn't prepared for the emotional journey she experienced while appearing on X Factor USA.

The 33-year-old was sacked as a judge on the panel last month by show boss Simon Cowell and says that while she is looking forward to the year ahead, she is unsure of why she was ousted from the panel.

"What happened? Well, all I know is that I gave 110 per cent to that show. I don't know. I know everybody's talking about it," she told Access Hollywood.

"They're saying good, bad, they love me or hate me, but the one thing you can't say is that I didn't give it my all. I had a wonderful experience on the show. I loved being a part of my X Factor family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets."

"I've always believed in never looking back and just moving forward and I've got an amazing year to look forward to," she added.

Meanwhile, Nicole was spotted enjoying a romantic stroll with ex-boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, fuelling speculation that they are back together.
