Kim Kardashian is reportedly petitioning against soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries' request to have the divorce trial televised.

It was revealed last week that Kris had wanted the trial to be heard in public so that the nation can learn that Kim did not marry for love.

Kris continues to insist that the marriage was real on his part but alleges that Kim was only interested in cashing in millions of dollars from magazine deals.

However, RadarOnline reports that Kim has now ordered her lawyer, Laura Wasser, to ask the judge that the trial be heard in private. 

Should the proceedings be a private matter despite the wedding and everything else in Kim's life being broadcast for the world to see.
