Beyonce reportedly broke down into tears when husband Jay-Z performed the tribute to their newborn daughter Blue Ivy during his show at the Carnegie Hall earlier this week.

The new mother was in the audience to support her rapper husband as he made history performing two nights at the prestigious venue.

However, it seems Bey missed her daughter, who was being looked after at home, and became emotional when she heard the heartfelt lyrics of the song recorded by Jay just hours after Blue's birth.

A source told the New York Daily News that Bey "never stopped dancing" throughout the night and "cried when he sang 'Glory.'"

When finished the show and met his wife in the VIP section, he greeted her with a hug and she told him his set was "amazing."
