DMX Charged In Theft Case

DMX has been charged with giving a false name and social security number to avoid paying medical bills.

The rapper, real name Earl Simmons, was charged with one count of theft and one count of identity theft.

According to authorities X gave medical officials the false name of Troy Jones while receiving treatment for pneumonia  and failed to pay his $7,500 bill.

X already faces charges of animal cruelty and drug possession.
