Halle Berry has reportedly asked for a judge's permission to move to France with boyfriend Olivier Martinez and daughter Nahla, against Gabriel Aubry's wishes.

TMZ reports that Halle has decided to settle down in Olivier's native country and has filed an official request with the courts to gain permission to take Nahla out of the county and away from Gabriel.

Sources have told the website that Gabriel is "livid" that Halle is moving to Europe and believes that she is doing it to stop him seeing his daughter. He is also angry that it means Olivier will spend more time with Nahla than he will.

The Monster's Ball actress has been embroiled in a legal battle with Gabriel following claims he shoved their nanny into a door while carrying Nahla, and asked a judge to strip him of custody rights until the investigation was completed.

However, a judge ruled against Halle's request and Gabriel is allowed to see Nahla but on the condition that their time together is supervised.
