Sherri Shepherd almost broke down in tears yesterday on The View when the ladies began discussing abortion.
Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Barbara Walters began discussing a news story in which a U.S. Federal judge upheld a Texas law requiring health providers to discuss or show women an ultrasound of their baby before they go through an abortion.
Sherri became tearful before saying in a cracked voice: "Can I say something?" and then launching an emotional-filled rant about the state and abortion.
She then revealed: "I’m speaking as a girl who’s had a lot of abortions!"
Elisabeth and Barbara then tried to console her as she continued her rant.
Sherri admitted to having abortions in 2008 during an interview with Precious Times, saying: "[I] was sleeping with a lot of guys and had more abortions than I would like to count."
