The former couple have been nominated in the new Electronic Dance Music Effect category at the college prize-giving.
RiRi has received a nod for her 'We Found Love' music video, while Breezy has been nominated for his 'Beautiful People' visuals.
The annual mtvU Woodie Awards are voted for by college students and will take place on March 18 in Austin, Texas.
The pair are gearing up to perform at the Grammy Awards this Sunday which will see RiRi take to the stage with Coldplay.
