Superstar beat-chemist Pharrell Williams has revealed he is working with Jay-Z on what could be a follow-up to the Brooklyn rapper's epic Watch the Throne album.
First proof of the pair's recent studio link-up surfaced days after the birth of Blue Ivy Carter in the form of'Glory', Jay-Z's ode to his baby daughter which sampled the newborn's laugh.
Speaking to MTV, Pharrell confirmed there was more music in the pipeline, describing the huge project as "crazy". "Well, you know, [Jay's] very discreet about details and stuff," he revealed. "I'm just a filmmaker, musically. I let everybody else play the roles."
Speculation is rife Pharrell could be working on beats for a sequel to last year's Platinum-selling Watch the Throne, after Jay-Z confirmed back in December he and groupmate Kanye West were ready to get straight back into the studio.
Do you think Skateboard P would be a good addition to The Throne?
