Alexandra Burke has revealed that she is "still a mess" over the death of Whitney Houston.
The 'Elephant' singer famously sung the legend's first number one single 'Saving All My Love For You' during her first audition for The X Factor in 2008.
Alex reveals the moment she found out about Whitney's tragic death: "I was at home with my aunt, and my sister [Blackberry Messaged] me and I didn't believe her for a second. So I went on my computer and I Googled and it didn't have anything on there, her Wikipedia didn't have anything," Alex exclusively told TaleTela.
"I was like, 'You're lying, can't be true,' I'm not even gonna lie I said 'You've got incorrect information, it's a Twitter lie.' At this point I'm praying it really is. Then I turned on the news and they confirmed it and I completely broke down."
It seems Alex - along with Whitney's millions of fans - is still taking the news hard and she hasn't stopped crying.
"I'm still a mess from that news. Whitney is someone who still means so much to me, and it's weird because it felt like - it still hasn't sunk in, it still hasn't felt like we've lost 'The Voice' in this industry."
