Estelle is rumoured to be replacing Kelly Rowland as a judge on The X Factor this year.

Kelly is said to have been given the axe by head honcho Simon Cowell who was reportedly less than pleased with her performance and decline in popularity as the show went on.

The 31-year-old singer fell foul of the public when she flew back to the US halfway through the live shows, resulting in one of her acts being sent home.

Now, Simon is said to be keen to sign up Estelle, who has forged a successful career for herself over the pond and is close friends with Kanye West and John Legend.

"Estelle's name is very high on his list now and serious enquiries have been made as to her availability for auditions in May," a source told The Sun.
