Chris Brown and his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran reportedly have an open relationship, which is why she is fine with him being in contact with his ex Rihanna.

The pint-sized model appears to have stuck by Chris' side since they began dating more than a year ago.

When Chris and RiRi released two new collaborations earlier this week, many wondered how Karrueche was dealing with the fact that her boyfriend has been spending an increasing amount of time with his former lover.

Well, a source says she's actually coping well because she and Chris have an "open relationship."

"Karrueche isn't stupid, and she has told friends that they have an open relationship," the insider told RadarOnline.

"She never asks him about Rihanna, ever. Chris will take several days to call her back at times, and that is OK with Karreuche. She doesn't pressure or hound Chris, it's just not what she is about."

"She recognizes that they are both young, and she isn't going to let the fact Chris is spending time with his ex-girlfriend come between what they have," a source close to the situation tells us."

The source also claims that RiRi and Chris have hooked up quite a few times this year but a full reconciliation isn't on the cards because he is "incapable of being faithful."
