Michael Jackson was due to work with Cheryl Cole before he passed away in 2009.
Cheryl's close friend and new manager will.i.am has revealed that he was in the process of writing a song for the unlikely duo and apparently Michael was more than happy to jump on board. "I told Michael Cheryl was the hottest thing in the UK and he was keen to meet her," Will told The People.
"The thing is with Cheryl, she makes the best of every situation and always comes out fighting. Nothing will ever keep that girl down for long, and I do mean nothing. She is an inspirational person."
Cheryl has just finished recording her third solo studio album and the record's first single is expected to drop soon.
Do you think a collabo between Cheryl and Michael would have worked?
