Ray J has broken his silence on the death of his ex-girlfriend Whitney Houston, saying that he is "still hurting" from her passing.
The 'One Wish' singer made an appearance at the Brotherhood Crusade/Mothers in Action press conference yesterday when he was asked questions about Whitney, who was found dead on February 11.
"It's just such a tough time for me. I've been through a lot in these past few weeks," he said according to UsMagazine.
"I'm able to look at life in a whole different way. I always look at my phone because I got a picture of somebody I really love and it helps me through the day."
Ray, who had a breakdown at the star's funeral three weeks ago, says God is helping him to come to terms with Whitney's untimely passing.
"I'm really emotional right now and I really don't know what to say," he said.
"But I will say I love and hurt... The most important thing of all is that God is talking to me. God is talking to me right now, and now is the time to listen. My ears are open."
Whitney's sister-in-law and manager Patricia Houston earlier spoke of the infamous bloody photos that emerged of the singer two days before her death, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey which will air on Sunday.
