Nick Cannon has tried to put to bed the rumours that his wife, supreme diva, Mariah Carey is pregnant.

The star recently withdrew from the film 'For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf' last week which fuelled rumours that she is pregnant.

According to US Weekly, Cannon said: "Her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know. In the next year or two, the rumours might come true."

Carey's spokesperson also said: "She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to. More than that I cannot comment further."

But ever the joker, Cannon did say - "I do want to make a big announcement... Russell terrier puppy Zha Zha is pregnant again!"
