Ray J has been forced to seek counselling by his sister Brandy after struggling to cope with the death of ex-girlfriend Whitney Houston.
Now his sister Brandy, also a close friend of the legendary diva, has urged Ray J to seek grief counselling in order to prevent another tragedy.
"Even though a month has passed since she died, Ray still can't believe that Whitney is gone. He has saved voicemail messages on his cell phone from her that he has been listening to," a source told Radar Online.
"Ray has promised Brandy he will see someone, however, knowing how take charge Brandy is, she will probably find a mental health professional and make the arrangements for him."
There are suspicions in Houston's camp that Ray J could be struck with guilt over his potential hand in the 48-year-old's death.
Whitney's manager and sister-in-law Patricia revealed in an Oprah Winfrey interview last weekend she didn't approve of the diva's relationship with Ray J, saying: "She was chasing something that would ultimately hurt her."
The couple were spotted leaving parties and restaurants looking strung out just days before her death.
"What people don't realise is how much Ray loves Whitney, he never refers to her in the past tense," the RadarOnline source added.
"He just doesn't know what to do with the huge void in his life."
