Kelly Rowland has reportedly agreed to return to The X Factor for a second year.
The 'Motivation' singer was rumoured to have been sacked from the UK version of the talent contest, after losing popularity with viewers towards the end of last year's series. Despite this, show boss Simon Cowell reportedly wants her to join Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh for a second year.
"Simon was considering moving Kelly to the us X Factor," a source told Star magazine.
"He thought she would be more comfortable there and the American audience would ‘get her’ more. But ITV were keen to hang on to her. They both agreed it would be unsettling to change the panel again."
Kelly famously had a feud with fellow judge Tulisa for most of the live shows last year, but it seems she has moved past it. "People presumed because of the arguments that Kelly is not coming back, but that it wrong," the insider claims.
"Simon Cowell and the producers were very pleased with her last year, Kelly is still very much in the mix and set to meet producers and sort out a new deal."
