Fergie has denied that she will be appearing as a judge on the next season of X Factor USA.

Simon Cowell reportedly listed the Black Eyed Peas singer as a favourite choice to judge on the next seasn of the American version of the show, which he launched last year. However, Fergie insists she is too busy to make such a huge commitment and wouldn't have time to focus on the show.

"It's kind of funny why this keeps coming up about The X Factor," Fergie told Access Hollywood.

"I mean, I love Simon and I love the show. It's just that last year, nor this year, do I have the time to commit to that sort of commitment because I would be somebody who would really throw myself into it, as I do with all my projects."

Simon is on the hunt for two new judges after axing Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul earlier this year.
