Gabourey Sidibe has spoken out about the rumours surrounding Mariah Carey's alleged pregnancy.

The 'Precious' star who co-starred with Carey on the award-winning film, told US Weekly that she will be a "great" mother.

She said: "I have faith that she will be. She's pretty loving, and she's very nice." Sidibe, 26, explained that she wasn't shocked by the rumours about the diva's supposed pregnancy.

Sidibe added: "As soon as anyone gets married, everyone's like, 'Have babies!' I'm like that. As soon as my friends get married, I'm like, 'When are you having babies? Have babies already!'"
