Rihanna may have some tough competition in the movie industry as the teen has also expressed interest in playing Whitney Houston in a biopic.
According to the DailyMail, Bobbi Kristina has shown interest in playing the role of Whitney, and feels it is only right that she should portray her late mother, who was found dead in her Beverly Hilton Hotel room in February.
Bobbi, who has recently nabbed headlines for her own drug problems, bears similar resemblance to her mother and is said to have told close friends that she is the perfect choice for the lead role in the biopic.
The teen's interest in the role comes after Rihanna publicly spoke out about her interest in playing the late singer, and gushed when asked questions about her involvement in the movie.
"I didn't get that call yet. That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. It's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job," she said.
Now that Bobbi has also expressed interest in playing Houston, it could mean that RiRi and Bobbi would have to battle it out for the once in a lifetime role.
The movie, which is currently being shopped around by its writers, will focus on Whitney's rise to fame in the early 80's, and then shift to her drug abuse problems which led to her dramatic downfall in the 90's while married to New Edition star Bobby Brown.
