Dizzee Rascal has teamed up with Jamie Cullum and Sharleen Spiteri to appear as a team of judges on Sky 1’s new series 'Must Be The Music', according to Sky Showbiz.
While Dizzee is well-known for his rap beats, Cullum is better known for soulful jazz and Spiteri for fronting the band 'Texas'. So the trio make an unlikely team, but perhaps it will work in their favour.
According to Sky, Dizzee said he was looking forward to judging contestants on the reality TV show, that is similar to the X-Factor. He said: “It’s going to be a great opportunity for musicians out there to come and perform in front of three judges who have such diverse musical styles, that no matter what style of music they perform it will surely pique the interest of at least one of us.”
The rapper also said that he understood how hard it was to break into the music industry and that he hoped to give fellow musicians their lucky break.
Did anyone catch Dizzee Rascal and actor James Corden on the 'Britain's Got Talent' final singing the unofficial World Cup song...
