Amy Winehouse’s mum has said that she is happy about the singer’s new romance with Reg Traviss.

The ‘Rehab’ singer is rumoured to be dating Reg Traviss after breaking up with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Her mother, Janis, talked to Grazia magazine about her daughter’s new boyfriend: "I'm really looking forward to meeting him. Their relationship is a gift from the gods.

"You just want to see your child happy and healthy and if Reg can help Amy stay in a place like that, then it's a good thing."

She also went on to say that Amy has fallen in love, she said: "Amy, bless her, is a little girl in love. I think it's what's called early days, but it's great for me to see Reg making her so happy. She seems to like everything about him."

Prior to his relationship with Amy, Traviss was dating a burlesque dancer, Raven Isis Holt, for two years. It is rumoured that he broke up with Holt for Winehouse.
