Janet Jackson may be taken court for a second time over the Superbowl boob malfunction.
The singer performed alongside Justin Timberlake at the 2004 sports event, when her breast popped out of her costume in front of 89 million viewers.
While CBS were forced to pay $550,000 fine for the offence, the case may be referred back to the US Supreme Court, as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Justice Department have petitioned an appeal to a 2011 ruling, stating that the incident was "shocking and pandering."
The 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia ruled last year that the fine given to CBS was an exaggerated punishment. But the FCC has argued that the incident was still offensive, particularly given that it occurred during popular sporting event watched by families.
This year's Superbowl wasn't without its own controversy either - M.I.A. caused outrage when she flipped the bird during her performance alongside Nicki Minaj and Madonna.
Do you think Janet's malfunction should be left in the past?
