Brandy became the latest celebrity to talk through their life and career in VH1's latest Behind The Music episode.
The 33-year old, who was a breakout star in the 90s thanks to her hit songs and television show Moesha, talks about the death of her close friend and mentor Whitney Houston, lying about being married when she fell pregnant, and the 2007 car crash that left one person dead.
The 'It All Belongs To Me' singer also reveals that she suffered from an eating disorder during the height of her career.
"I wanted to be so thin. That was my main thing. So I started not taking care of myself - not eating properly, not eating at all, diet pills, regurgitating and all of these things that girls do," Brandy recalled.
"People don't understand that being the hottest star or making the most money does not mean anything. I'm here to tell you I was making so much money - I was omnipresent - and I was the unhappiest teenager probably in the world."
