Waka Flocka Flame has revealed how his life was turned upside down after his 10-year-old brother was knocked down and killed by a drunk driver.

Flockaveli says he wanted to "lash out on everyone" following the tragedy in 2000, when the Brick Squad rapper was just 14.

"I f***ed with a lot of girls, I'm in the streets thuggin," he told this month's issue of Spin magazine, describing his home life as an adolescent as "wild" and "a zoo." "It could be fights every day, shootings - if a party didn't get shot up, that s**t was kinda dead."

"It might be as dumb as hell to say that now, but that was the truth, as a kid. I'm not saying that to be hard - that's just how I grew up."

Waka recently admitted he "hated" the Tupac hologram that wowed everyone at this year's Coachella festival, claiming people were "getting paid off a dead man's body."
