Amongst the new wave of British females increasingly dominating the music industry, East London-born Mz Bratt is leading the lyrical revolution.
Having being learning her trade since 2007 via the Give It To Em mixtape series and last year's street-released Elements, Bratt, aka Cleo Humphrey, has reached the fringes of nationwide exposure.
However, in a recent chat with TaleTela, the 23-year-old reveals she's conscious of staying true to her music in the face of commercial demands and the often disregarded difficulties of balancing both attractive and taken seriously in urban music.
Gearing up for her first headlining show in May, Mz Bratt touches on her plans for her debut album and potential collaborations with fellow Londoner and other industry heavyweights.
