Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom reportedly want to restore their marriage back to how it was before their recent turbulent period.

The loved-up couple have had a rocky few months in light of Lamar's trade from the LA Lakers in December and then announcing his departure from new team Dallas Mavericks, last month. Additionally, it was announced last week that Khloe and Lamar will not be filming a third season of their reality show in order for Lamar to focus on his basketball career.

Sources close to the couple say they are hoping to get their relationship back to the stress-free, balanced state it was in before.

"They have decided he should spend his off-season focused on training," the insider told UsWeekly.

"They really want to have a baby and are trying everything. But it's so personal to them. Now that they're back home in L.A., they can work on that more. Privately. They just want to take time for themselves and get back to the way things used to be."

The couple married in 2009 after a whirlwind romance of just 30 days.
