Beyonce partied until the early hours of Tuesday morning with her sister Solange Knowles. 

The 'Party' songstress had attended the MET Ball earlier in the evening alongside the likes of Kanye West, Rihanna and Alicia Keys. According to UsWeekly, Beyonce then headed to an after-party at the Boom Boom Room at Manhattan's Standard Hotel with a small group of people including younger sister Solange.

Beyonce is said to have taken over a couple of VIP tables and became the centre of attention despite other celebrities being in the building, including Gerard Butler and Kirsten Dunst.

The star's bodyguards even turned away well-wishers from her area so that she could enjoy time with her small posse. 

The group is said to have left at around 1:15am, when Bey headed back to her four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy and husband Jay-Z.
