Beyonce has posted a sweet Mother’s Day letter to her mother Tina Knowles on her website.

This Mother’s Day will be particularly special for the singer as she will be celebrating her first with her four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy.

In the touching handwritten letter posted on Bey’s website, she thanks her mother for being the best role model and making sacrifices that have made the star who she is today.

“Everything I am is because of you, ” the star penned.

“You teach me to be true to myself and the ones I love. When I look into your eyes I am so proud.”
