Nas has paid tribute to Michelle Obama describing her as the most beautiful woman in the world.

The 'Nasty' rapper praises the First Lady for carrying out charity work and for appearing genuine in her attempts to improve the way of living for Americans and their families.

"Michelle Obama is the most beautiful woman on the planet," Nas told Complex magazine in a recent interview.

"She cares about people. All first ladies have their jobs to do, but you can feel her sincerity."

Nas isn't the only celebrity to pay tribute to Michelle - back in April, Beyonce penned a handwritten letter in which she said Michelle was the perfect role model for her four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy.

Nas recently opened up about his split from ex-wife Kelis and says that the divorce "really messed him up."
