Basketball Wives' star Evelyn Lozada has extended an olive branch to Star Jones after slamming her in an interview with Vibe magazine.
Jones recently expressed her disgust of the show and its negative portrayal of African-American women and encouraged a petition to get the show taken off the air.
Lozada responded, by saying: "I think she’s going to have to get a whole lot of names. Actually, I like the petition and I like the controversy because I’ve learned controversy is good."
"But I think she's irrelevant. And she's using our coattails to get relevant again. Nobody gives a f**k about her."
But it seems the mouthy reality vixen has had a change of heart and in an exchange of tweets has backtracked on her outburst.
"Know we’ve discussed my comments 2 @VibeMagazine privatelybut want 2 publicly apologize 4 my words. Ur an amazing example! @JawnMurray @StarJonesEsq @VibeMagazine I adore her Jawn and a change has come. Thank you for helping put us together," she posted.
To which Jones responded: "You know you’re lucky you apologized @EvelynLozada for @vibemagazine b/c you were about to get a “EVELYN” type cuss out! NOT…just kidding. Just goes to show you. Your initial response is not always the RIGHT RESPONSE. #GROWTHisPROGRESS."
Dead the beef ladies!
