Brandy has revealed that she isn't keen on touring with her longtime collaborator Monica.
Despite the success of their second collaboration 'It All Belongs To Me,' Brandy feels that it may be a while yet before the two tour together.
Although it seemed like a sure thing earlier this year, the pitched joint may not be taking place after Brandy sat down for a one-on-one with Bark + Bite.
Brandy spoke about her upcoming album Two Eleven and the reunion with Monica fourteen years after their initial hit ‘The Boy Is Mine,’ as well as being questioned whether the penned tour with the ‘Everything To Me’ singer would still be taking place.
The 33-year-old seemed however a little hesitant to do a tour with Monica as she felt that they are at different spaces in their music.
"Honestly, we haven’t really talked about it since we stopped promoting ‘It All Belongs To Me.’ I just honestly think Monica and I are in different places in our music. And my vibe is a little bit different this time around so I don’t know. I kind of wanna do my own thing."
"I definitely feel like the fans would want a tour from us, but I don’t know, I just feel like I’m being pulled in a different direction. I’m definitely still open to it, but right now I’m looking in a different way right now for me."
Although the tour may be on the fence, one thing fans can be assured of is the arrival of Brandy’s forthcoming album Two Eleven slated to hit stores later this year.
