Jessica Alba has had to intervene to stop a fan from going through with dramatic plastic surgery to look like the star.

According to The Daily Star, a 21-year-old girl called Xiaoging could have had the surgery done for free by doctors in Shanghai but didn't go through with it after Alba begged her not to.

Alba said: "I think you should never have to change yourself like that. If somebody loves you, they'll love you no matter what."

Having decided against the surgery, Xiaoging said: "I think it's great that Jessica is so concerned about me. Her words also played an important role in my decision."
