Rap fans may see as many as three new J. Cole projects this year, with the Roc Nation rhymer revealing he has recorded 'too much' new music.
Cole is already in the middle of cutting a collaboration project with fellow newcomer Kendrick Lamar and was also recently spotted in the studio with Maybach Music's Wale, and the neverending studio grind has meant there are enough tracks left over that the Fayetteville MC might just give them away for free on a mixtape.
"I got too many songs," the 27-year-old told XXL after his performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam concert.
"I gotta figure out how to put out a project out before the album. I gotta figure that out. I have too many songs."
Cole also confirmed work has begun on the follow-up to last year's number one debut Cole World: The Sideline Story.
