Usher has hit out against acts such as Jay Sean and Taio Cruz, complaining that these Brit acts are de-valuing R&B music.

This could be the stupidest thing he's done since cheating on TLC star Chilli and then writing a rubbish album about their split. And then denying being another woman's babydaddy! We could go on...

He told the Daily Star: "There’s a very fine line between what’s R&B and pop these days. Just because it’s sung by a male minority doesn’t mean you’re urban or R&B.

"Those artists are pop. The true value of R&B has been brought down."

Suffice to say, Usher's forgotten three important things:

1. He's been the major backing force behind Justin Bieber's meteoric rise to fame, and it's not as if having a whining hamster nominated for a BET award is doing any R&B any favours.

2. Craig David's making a comeback, and he is JUST as relevant as Usher, and a better singer.

3. Usher hasn't had a decent R&B song since U Make Me Wanna.

With all this arrogance, is Usher the new Kanye? Or do you agree that British R&B is fake?
