Nas insists he won't acknowledge the explosive recently leaked video which shows how he planned to stage a mock lynching of Jay-Z at the 2002 Summer Jam concert.

The video, which surfaced over the weekend, shows special effects experts constructing a robot version of Jay-Z and testing out hanging it on a 12-foot high gallows.

However, after being questioned by MTV about the clip, which was recorded at the height of the two rappers' legendary beef, Nas refused to acknowledge past incident.

"I really don’t even want to acknowledge it," he explained.

"Everybody’s in a different place. I don’t even want to acknowledge it. I can’t acknowledge that. Jay’s my man, and that’s that, that’s all I’m gonna say."

The pair have publicly reconciled since the turn of the millennium. Although once Hov sees what his one-time enemy had in store for him, things might get a little... awkward.
