Rapper Snoop Dogg must be earning some fine dollars because he wanted to rent a whole country for a recent video shoot.
According to reports, the rapper wanted to have the run of Liechtenstein but, the deal was scuppered because of time constraints. The nation's government did not take the request too seriously, as NY Post reported its ambassador, Claudia Fritsche said: "There is no 'For Rent' sign on our country. No part of any government agency is involved in this."
A property manager of Liechtenstein, Karl Schwaerzler said that the rapper wanted the entire 61 square miles for the video shoot.
He said: "We've had requests for places and villages but never one to hire the whole country before. It would have been possible, but Snoop Dogg's management did not give us enough time."
Snoop Dogg who once claimed never to have performed sober, has so far not commented on his desire to 'rent' the nation. If you were to rent a nation - which one would you choose?
