Tyra Banks has revealed she has considered quitting her hit TV show America's Next Top Model after almost 10 years appearing as a judge.
The 38-year-old created the hugely popular fashion show in 2003 and it has successfully run for an incredible 19 seasons. After many ups and downs, Tyra says she mulled over the option of quitting the show and handing it over to another model who could share their experience and wisdom from the industry.
"I've thought about turning the reigns over. I had to be reminded that the show is my baby. A few years ago, I was willing to give my baby up for adoption!" Tyra told the New York Post.
Tyra explains that she was previously afraid to let go of the project she developed from the ground up, but has learned to delegate and share the workload.
"I am learning how to delegate, and how to empower people. It has decreased my stress more. Now we are going to be producing so much more television," she added.
"I didn't produce more TV because I am so much a micro-manager, hands on. But now, I realise that in order to truly grow, I have to delegate and find amazing people that are better at it than me."
Do you think it's time for Tyra to call it quits on the show?
