Amy Winehouse's new boyfriend has opened up about his relationship and says that she is "lovely".

Reg Traviss, who is a film director, has been dating the star for a few months and is her first boyfriend since Blake Fielder-Civil.

Winehouse is apparently "healthy and happy" and is off the booze and drugs "as far as I know".

Traviss spoke to The Sun and said: "She's fine, she's good at the moment." Do you think he's covering his back in case she returns to her skanky ways?

Traviss also said that he's not looking to cast Winehouse in any of his future films.

He said: "She's not an actress. And I've never even discussed it with her."
