Nicki Minaj has revealed that she's keeping in touch with her Young Money mentor with regular phone calls.

She also said that every time they catch up on the phone he makes her laugh. Lil Wayne is currently serving a prison sentence for a gun charge at Riker's Island.

The 'Massive Attack' star told MTV News: "Everytime I speak to Wayne, he's in great spirits. He's hilarious, always making me laugh. I'm always cracking up whenever I talk to him.

"He's still his same self, he's just - it seems to me - even more business-minded now... I know when he comes out, it's gonna be a problem, because he's one of those people that needs to get out his thoughts. So I would imagine he would probably be in the studio for 60 days straight. He'll probably do three albums the day he comes home."
