Floyd Mayweather may wake up feeling like a broken man today as he allegedly lost $3 million in a bet on a football team this weekend.
The boxing champ was obviously in good spirits celebrating the Labour Day weekend and decided to splash the cash on a bet on the game between the University of Michigan and Alabama.
According to MediaTakeOut, Floyd placed a bet that Michigan would win or lose by less than 15 points- however, he guessed wrong because they had a huge loss of 41-14 to Alabama. Floyd did hint that it would be a wild weekend and even revealed on Twitter that he was planning to spend bucketloads of money.
"Me and #TheMoneyTeam will be shutting down Miami tonight.. @ClubPlayMiami will be crazy #LifestyleFlashy," Floyd wrote on Saturday.
No doubt his fiancee Shantel Jackson will be consoling him - or not because Floyd was revealed at the richest sportsman earlier this year, so he can more than afford it!
