Kelly Rowland's launch date for her new album release has been pushed back until later in the year.

The self-titled debut with her record label Universal/Motown was scheduled for release on 21 September but apparently Rowland needs more time to complete the record.But, they have said that the album will be ready for release in mid-autumn.

The delay was confirmed by Rowland on the Big Tigger Morning Show, a radio programme in the States. She said: "I'm just making sure everything is going to be absolutely perfect... I'm still recording."

Rowland has been getting about making sure she has maximum publicity in the run-up for the release.... what is she going to have left to talk about if they push the release date back!?
