Damon Dash has discussed his feud with hip hop mogul Jay-Z, and how he felt that the '99 Problems' hitmaker betrayed their friendship in 2005.
In an inteview with Village Voice, Dash talks about how Jay-Z offered the rights to the trademark name Roc-A-Fella in exchange for his Reasonable Doubt masters. Dash said that he was shocked by Jigga's offer.
He said: “We all earned those masters. This turn of events remains bewildering. The people that I was helping, once they realised their dreams, they did what a criminal would do. They stabbed you in the back.
"Think about the frustration of building a brand for years that should be taking care of your family, and then the person that was the closest to you saying, 'Nah, you can't have no parts of it,' and flushing it."
Do you think that Damon Dash should just get over it? Is he just using Jay-Z's name to get more publicity to further his own career?
