Halle Berry is going to appear in an uncoming episode of 'The Simpsons'.

The Oscar-winning actress will play herself in the episode of the animated series.

The show will centre around the Academy Awards where Berry will present a trophy. It will see Bart and Homer nominated for their animated short that's based on Bart's cartoon Angry Dad.

Executive producer Al Jean told EW.com: "It's a bit of a sature of the different Oscar acceptances where two people clearly race to the stage to get there first and Homer and Bart are fighting to be the one that accepts."

The episode will hit TV screens early next year...
