Jamie Foxx has said that Mel Gibson's comments have made it tough for "blacks" and "jews" but the actor needs to resolve this issue.

After several secret recordings of the 'Lethal Weapon' actor allegedly verbally abusing his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Oksana Grigorieva, many people have turned against him.

In one of the recordings, Gibson is allegedly heard threatening his ex saying: "You look like a f***ing pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n***ers, it will be your fault."

The 'Ray' actor talked to Entertainment Tonight: "It's tough when you hear those messages from Mel Gibson… It's tough for blacks, it's tough for Jews. I still love his work… It's just he has to make things right."

A few years ago Gibson was forced to apologise for anti-Semitic comments.
