Leona Lewis is not designing a new fashion range for the high street store Topshop.
A Reports in today's Sun newspaper claimed that the former X-Factor winner was to meet the store's founder, Sir Philip Green, to discuss a deal later this month.
The deal would, according to the paper, see Lewis follow in the footsteps of Topshop's most high profile clothes designer, supermodel Kate Moss.
But, speaking to Gigwise, a spokeswoman for Topshop has insisted that the paper's claims are “unsubstantiated.”
“[There is] nothing in place, no plans have been made,” she added.
Lewis, who won X-Factor in 2007, has enjoyed continued success in both the UK and America since the release of her debut album 'Spirit'.
The album topped the charts in both countries – and Lewis is tipped to take the record on the road in 2009.
